In this video we are going back to Denver, CO USA! Jon Exidy takes me to a pretty cool retailer called “Game Exchange of Colorado”. We get to take a tour of the showroom then get to check out the warehouse space in the back. This place has been in business for a long time and the place is loaded with classic and new arcade games, test equipment and more. We also check out the new Mario Kart DX game which I had me drooling! 🙂
This video is part of my Denver series and is part II.
This is their website:
These are the Pole Position “CHAMPIONSHIP” dip switch settings:
Game Time: 120 Seconds
Laps: 4
Practice Difficulty: “C” Rank
Extended Lap Difficulty: “G” Rank (75 – 51 – 57 – 61)
Use the manual to see which dips do what. It is in two sections of the manual:

I’m glad you don’t live in Denver cus you would lowball that guy every day for your own benefit. Don’t complain about higher prices…
MKGPDX is still the best arcade game
Midway got in the lawsuit with universal for renaming?. Explain to me.
Wow! Those test rigs are amazing. You could do an entire video on those things by themselves. Thanks for another great video John, good stuff!
26 dollars for it
2:40 the music is very pure pwnage
You have a basement meant for parties!!!! Do you ever have any?
Watching all of these older vids. Special thanks to the Game Exchange for allowing cameras to record there for this video as it's really fun seeing all of these machines and parts. Very cool.
mace the dark age sighting
why cant i find anything on lady bug being ordered to be destroyed??? is that some bullshit story?
dont know how I missed this video. I worked for the guys at GEC for a few years. Great place to work and I still do business with them to this day.
John, just curious… when you visit places like this do you call ahead of time to ask permission to video tape it and post it to your channel?
Wow nice jukebox 15:10 !
if ive never restored a game before whats the best kind of game for me to go for if i want to work on it with basically no knowledge learning as i go
John, I love your videos. Can you cut the music when the content of the video begins. It is hard to hear John Exidy talk with the music playing over him. Just a thought.
I've played a Mario Kart DX on a cruise ship, very cool racing game!
Your the coolest guy ever. I'd take years off my life to tour arcade warehouses like the ones you do. Sadly not in Canada.
What about a LED Scrolling Info Frame Box Thingy?
I love these kinds of vids. I wish you would have moved a little bit slower on the showroom floor just to see the games / cab art. 7 min in you really start zooming by. Awesome tour! Looking at all the monitors im surprised you didn't mention something about your 720 monitor.
Hey John,
Love your channel. Love the tips, tricks and general how to's when it comes to fixing up a cabinet. I have been doing MAME for some time now, but have been wanting to do a Dig Dug for a long time. Think I might give it a try. I live in GA. Very difficult to find a place around here to get cab's. This past weekend I went to PA. On the way I stopped at CoinOp Warehouse in Hagerstown MD. Ever been there? Lot's of parts and anything and everything coin op. Picked up a 25'in monitor for $100. This is the ultimate Coin Op graveyard. You should check it out if you ever get a chance.
These videos are great. Better than anything on primetime TV. So much nostalgia. I'd love to work (even as a warehouse part runner or dog poop picker-upper) in that game warehouse.
I'm surprised you don't have Adsense on your Youtube Channel.. That will make you some money…
Jump Bug for Baby Pac-Man!
